How do we get to the start?

The race starts in Winchester, IL which is located a short distance off I-72.

Take the Winchester exit (exit 52), follow the signs to Winchester (about 3 miles). This will take you directly to Monument Park.

From the Ramada, turn left out of the parking lot. This road will take you straight to Winchester.

How long will it take us to get to the start?

From Jacksonville you should allow 20-25 minutes to reach the start. Allow more time if you plan to get lost. You should plan to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled starting time.

What should we do when we get there?

A volunteer will stop you and collect your final list of runners. The volunteer will then direct you to parking.

Five minutes before your team s assigned starting time your team vehicle (hopefully minus your first runner) will be asked to proceed to the first exchange.

What happens if we are late?

Every effort will be made to start your team at a later starting time and your finish time adjusted accordingly.
